Actually I have made a unique ability system. Well I got inspired by Helltaker, Undertale, and Dweller's Empty Path.
The Sprite I made, was inspired by Temmie Chang (He make good pixel art).

So the ability system was you're girls. It was a harem(not really cause there are men included) game (but the protagonist is a lesbian) you girls called "Guardians" have different powers like Guardians of Sand/Fire/Hell/Light/Lunar/Time.

(Let me use Gabriel from Gabriel Dropout as my example Guardian)

So before you activate the ability you have to talk with the Guardians first. 
-If she's happy it's a success the ability will activate!
-If she's mad, well... the ability will cancel.
-If she's blushing, it's a crit!

Well the battle was basically like an Action RPG but with punching, kicking and smashing.
